Nylon 6 PLA (Ertalon 6 PLA) available in natural (ivory) & black

Unmodifield cast nylon 6 grade has very similar properties of Nylon 66 SA.
It combines high strength, stiffness and hardness with good creep and wear
resistance, heat ageing properties and machinability. Availability Plates:

Common Uses for Nylon 6 Cast Plastic

Curve Drum using Nylon 6 PLA (Ertalon 6 PLA)

Application example for cast nylon 6 can be found in a curved drum for a
chicken processing line. The cutting tools move up and down driven by
rollers moving in the slots of a cam drum. These tools are used for cutting
the chicken into pieces.

Ertalon 6 PLA was selected, due to its excellent wear resistance and its
food contact compliant composition. Cast Nylon 6 is the only material
available in the sizes requested for the drums.

The key benefits for using cast nylon 6 in this application was noise
dampening, good impact resistance and availability of larger sizes.
