In these unprecedented times, it is vital that we all minimise contact, and the spread of germs as much as possible. Door handles are a major touchpoint, being handled by numerous individuals daily, and are therefore a breeding ground for bacteria.

In an effort to reduce our contact with known touch-points, The Institute for Automotive and Manufacturing Advanced Practice at University of Sunderland have designed a device which attaches to door handles, and allows you to open the door without the handle touching your hand.
